Fall Activities for Preschool

Are you looking for some fall activities for your preschool students? I love finding ways to incorporate seasons into activities and centers in the classroom and it’s even better when I can use fall manipulatives like leaves, pumpkins, and acorns! This Fall Activities for Preschool set includes over 18 hands-on activities to use in your preschool classroom. The activities are multi-skilled, so they help students practice their alphabet, numbers, counting, colors, patterns, and fine motor skills! Let’s take a sneak peek inside this activity set and see all the wondrous learning that takes place!

Fall Letter Building

Need some hands-on ways to practice the alphabet and letter formation? These A-Z letters are just the thing! You can use any sort of small item for building e.g., erasers, acorns, counters, etc. Your students will be delighted to build the entire alphabet!

Tip ✨ Grab these fun seasonal objects at your nearest craft store (Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc).

Sunflower Counting

Put those unifix/snap cubes and links to good use! Kiddos pull a card and build the sunflower based on the number of “stems” and “leaves” it requires.

Tip ✨ These counter cards have over 18 different variations, so your students will have lots of options for building their sunflower. 🌻

Leaf Color Sorting

Bring the fall indoors with a leaf color sorting activity! Go on a leaf hunt with your students, find all the colors of fall, and bring them inside to sort into leaf jars!

Tip ✨ You can also use store bought leaves as well for this activity. 🍁

The Colors of Fall Alphabet Dob

Grab some bingo daubers and have your students work on their letter recognition and fine motor skills all at once! Kiddos pull a letter card, find the correct letter and “dob” it with their bingo dauber.

Tip ✨ Encourage students to use various colors of bingo daubers to get those beautiful fall colors. 🍂
