Happy New Year! It has been too long since my last post, but I am so excited to share all the new things we are doing in our TK classoom! I recently made a “big ideas” corner for my little friends, and I have seen some awesome results with it! I wanted to create a space for the kids that allowed them to freely create, while still having exposure to letters and numbers, as well as using their fine motor skills. My kids love this area; they love being able to use the small expo markers to draw pictures, use the fridge alphabet tiles to make their name, or putting the number magnets in order.
“Little Minds, Big Ideas!” My kids love using these white boards during our learning areas!
I got both of these white boards at Walmart (I believe I got them for $10 each). I also got the letter magnets in the kitchen section of Walmart. Everything else is from Lakeshore 🙂
